As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, employees, and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location visitors, associates, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support loss prevention efforts.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for security-related concerns, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
