Employment Type Full-time Requirements Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years) Licensed dental hygienist Licensure: Must possess an active and unrestricted New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License in good standing. Clinical Experience: A minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience working in a dental office setting is required for this role. Job Description Prophylaxis & Periodontal Therapy: Perform detailed oral scaling, root planing, and comprehensive polishing to eliminate calculus and plaque, tailoring care to each patient's comfort level. Patient Intake Assessments: Review complex medical histories and cross-examine health records to execute safe, highly customized clinical treatment planning. Preventative Oral Health Advocacy: Provide customized patient education on proper oral hygiene practices, home-care regimens, and post-procedural recovery. Aseptic Protocol Maintenance: Maintain uncompromising sterilization and infection control standards while rigorously adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations. Clinical Document Integrity: Systematically chart patient conditions, treatment plans, and diagnostic details utilizing precise dental terminology and compliant medical coding.
