Senior Product Engineer
Our client, a rapidly growing AI technology company based in New York City, is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to help build the next generation of intelligence tools used by leading venture capital firms, private equity investors, and enterprise organizations. Backed by over $30 million in venture funding, the company has developed an AI-powered platform that transforms vast amounts of structured and unstructured data into actionable insights, enabling investors to identify emerging companies, evaluate opportunities, and make smarter investment decisions. Their customers include some of the world's leading technology companies and investment firms, and they continue to experience exceptional growth. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering team where you'll own products end-to-end, solve complex technical challenges, and build AI-powered applications that are reshaping how organizations discover and evaluate opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications that power AI-driven research and workflow solutions.
- Build intuitive, high-performance user experiences using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies while developing robust backend services with Python and Go.
- Architect and optimize systems that process large-scale structured and unstructured data to deliver fast, reliable, and intelligent search experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver innovative features from concept through production.
- Contribute to technical architecture, engineering best practices, and product strategy within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building scalable web applications.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and modern backend development, with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and building products that manage complex datasets while delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving startup environment.
- Experience with AI-powered products, search platforms, data-intensive applications, or modern technologies such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, GCP, Terraform, or similar tools is highly preferred.
