This position reports to the Team Lead or Manager.Responsibilities:Perform imaging procedures and produce high quality diagnostic images; maintain consistent knowledge and skill levels to meet diagnostic evaluation expectations; complete documentation of all activities according to established criteria; and adhere to department / hospital policies, procedures and processes regarding quality improvement, safety, patient flow and other issues.Communicate and collaborate with other radiology staff and other departmental staff to facilitate optimum patient care; participate / cooperate with all other departmental / hospital processes and activities as appropriate.Participate in training programs to develop additional skills and / or enhance existing skills; obtain / maintain appropriate licensure and certification; participate in patient / student education as appropriate.Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Director or Medical Director.WORK EXPERIENCELess than 1 year Minimum 6 months - 1 year of related experience PreferredEDUCATIONBachelors Degree PrefAssociates Degree EssentialLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONSSonography-ARRT-2A-ARRT(S) EssentialExcluding Maternal Fetal Med: Employee hired after 1/27/22 must have one of the following certifications active within 1 year from hire date.Current Vascular Registry with:RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) by ARDMS American Registry of Diagnostic Medical sonographyRT(VS) (Vascular Sonographer) by ARRT American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsRVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) by CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Time Frame: 1 YearVascular Sonographer-2A-ARRT(VS) EssentialReg Diagnostic Medical Sonographer-2A-RDMS Essential Current Ultrasound registry with ARDMS or ARRT - Time Frame: Upon HireRDMS - Pediatric Sonography-2A-RDMS(PS) Pref PS (Pediatric Sonography) by ARDMSRegistered Vascular Specialist-2A-RVS EssentialRegistered Vascular Tech-2A-RVT EssentialBasic Life Support-2R-BLS Essential Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements - Time Frame: Upon HireA Place Where You BelongWe put our people first.
