Marketing and Communications Intern at Girl Scouts of Connecticut Inc North Haven, CT

Position Summary Part-time volunteer internship position at Girl Scouts of Connecticut in the Marketing & Communications Department. This position will assist the MarCom team with tasks such as but not limited to: content curation, copywriting, graphic design, project management, digital media, video, and support of marketing internal and external campaigns. This position is ideal for students majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, English, or Nonprofit Studies. Responsibilities Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web) Prepare promotional presentations Help distribute marketing materials Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) Help organize marketing events Requirements and Skills Complete GSUSA Brand Training modules online and develops an understanding of brand standards and messaging.
