SAP ERP Database Administrator (DBA)

GovSG is seeking a Mid level Data Base Administrator to support the Navy's ERP environment. The DBA will work with a team of functional resources to develop detailed and summary level queries to inform data compliance and support data analysis efforts. This position is remote but based out of Washington D.C. Position Duties: Administer SAP HANA and, where required, Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 databases supporting critical SAP workloads. Handle installation, patching, upgrades, backup/restore, recovery testing, and database lifecycle management. Optimize HANA architecture, memory, performance, and analytical workloads tied to S/4HANA environments. Support S/4HANA migrations, RISE-style programs, and hybrid deployment models across on-prem and cloud. Implement performance baselines, operational KPIs, and governance for patching, capacity, and platform health. Work closely with Basis and infrastructure teams on HA/DR, storage, network dependencies, and incident resolution. Support cloud-hosted databases on AWS, Azure, or GCP with focus on resilience, cost, and security. Contribute to automation of health checks, patch cycles, and operational runbooks. Maintain strong security and audit readiness across database platforms and supporting infrastructure. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: DoD Secret Clearance, Must have a T5 background investigation Bachelor's Degree CompTIA Security+ Certification Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills for business-critical support. Oracle and SQL Server would be a plus. Salary: $104,000- $115,000. Actual compensation offered to candidate will vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
