• Location: Charlottesville, VA 22908
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Schedule: Nights and weekends required; scheduling may vary based on staffing needs
• Charting System: Epic experience required
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the ability to obtain Virginia licensure before the start date
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ER) experience required
• Must have either 1 year of Level I trauma facility experience or 2 years of Level II trauma facility experience
• Experience caring for pediatric patients required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required; TNCC may be pending at submission but must be completed before start
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong triage skills and comfort working in a high-acuity emergency nursing setting
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform triage and prioritize care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Care for patients with trauma, chest pain, stroke, and other complex emergency presentations
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support efficient, patient-centered care
• Accurately document care in Epic and follow established unit protocols
• Adapt to staffing needs, weekend coverage, and variable scheduling requirements
• Support safe, effective care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
