Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience License: Massachusetts RN license Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale NIHSS Must-Have: Willingness to float to PCU as needed Experience with Vent, ICP Monitoring, and Hemodynamic Monitoring Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred) Trauma Nursing Core Course TNCC (preferred) Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN (preferred) Description: All travelers must ensure they have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail set up will be redirected when contacted. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted prior to upload. Time off requests after submission or during an interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers must include their Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license with their profile. This license is required to staff for temporary nursing needs. Block scheduling is not available for this position. The unit size has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable. All scheduling requests must be made at the submission time. The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer or during the interview. Please ensure all relevant information is included in the submission. Candidate must have their own vehicle as this is a firm requirement. Profile must include work history and skills checklist relevant to Critical Care, current within 1 year. A signed supervisory reference from the past two years of employment is required.
