The Logistics Specialist maintains accurate inventory records, supports warehouse and distribution operations, and ensures seamless integration between physical stock and digital systems. This role focuses on analyzing logistics data, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence across supply chain and warehouse environments.
Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and reconcile daily stock and inventory reports, resolving discrepancies within established KPI timelines.
- Maintain alignment between physical inventory, ERP systems, SAP, WMS, and related logistics system interfaces to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Investigate stock variances, transaction errors, system access issues, and approval blockers, coordinating corrective actions with internal teams and 3PL partners.
- Support warehouse operations, materials management, logistics execution, factory support, and business continuity across distribution channels.
- Manage and resolve disruptions affecting inventory management, logistics processes, warehouse performance, and overall operational continuity.
- Monitor ticket queues and workflow activities, routing or escalating issues to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Customer Support, Logistics, IT, and local/global teams to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other Office applications to prepare reports, perform data analysis, and track issues related to inventory and logistics.
- Work closely with 3PL-supported environments to ensure smooth warehouse management system operations and interface connections.
- Apply knowledge of logistics and technical process flows, including IT flows, ERP transactions, and WMS applications, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of relevant experience in warehouse logistics, inventory control, supply chain operations, materials management, or distribution operations.
- Hands-on experience in material handling and shipping and receiving activities.
- Knowledge of logistics and technical process flows, including IT flows, ERP transactions, WMS applications, and interface connections.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including 3PL-supported environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for reporting, analysis, and issue tracking.
- Ability to analyze logistics data, identify trends, investigate root causes, and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with multiple systems and interfaces.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under time constraints.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to pass a BG check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working as a material handler in a logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with Oracle or similar enterprise systems used in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Experience working with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse or factory setting.
- Comfort working with 3PL partners and external logistics providers.
- Ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents accurately.
- Ability to observe and respond appropriately to people and situations and interact professionally with colleagues and partners.
- Ability to learn and apply new information, tools, and skills in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to working in a safe, professional, and ethical manner at all times.
- Willingness to occasionally work overtime based on business needs.

Work Environment
This role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., primarily in a desk and office environment. The assignment is expected to last approximately 1218 months, with the possibility of conversion based on performance and business needs. You will spend extended periods working at a computer terminal, interspersed with meetings, phone calls, and other communication activities. The environment is generally moderate in temperature and noise level. The role requires routine sitting, walking, talking, and hearing, as well as frequent use of hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel, and the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. You may occasionally move around the campus and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The position may occasionally require overtime to meet operational demands. Employees and subcontractors are expected to work safely, professionally, and ethically at all times. Steel toe boots are required on the first day and must be worn as part of the dress code when applicable to the work being performed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
