Place of Performance and Hours of Operation Service is provided on‑site at USSOUTHCOM Headquarters, 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral, FL 33172. Working hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; any hours outside the normal schedule require prior approval from Montech and the Government. Summary of Responsibilities Policy & Compliance: Developing and implementing security procedures aligned with Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and DoD standards to protect national security information. Operational Security: Executing daily security functions, including facility inspections, personnel access control (ePACS/Lenel), and foreign partner information‑sharing coordination. Material Lifecycle Management: Operating approved Security Engineered Machinery (SEM) for the destruction of classified materials and facilitating systematic declassification processes. Personnel Security (PERSEC): Administering clearance actions, fingerprinting, and in‑processing for civilian, military, and contractor personnel. 24/7 Mission Support: Providing technical troubleshooting and hardware maintenance for secure systems, including 24/7/365 coverage for mission‑critical operations as required. Courier Services: Processing courier requests, preparing courier cards and travel authorization letters within three business days, maintaining an accounting spreadsheet, and submitting weekly metrics. Security Incident Management: Processing reported/suspected security incidents in accordance with local policy, maintaining incident files, and collaborating with IT and DISA to sanitize systems and printers, issuing notifications, and preparing reports. Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Program: Implementing and maintaining the CUI Program, conducting data collection and evaluating marking compliance, documenting results, recommending corrective actions, and performing preliminary inquiries as required. Annual Agency Classification Management Report: Collecting data quarterly, reviewing for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and preparing reports for inclusion in the Annual Agency Classification Management Report/Data Call. Security Education, Awareness & Training (SETA): Executing a comprehensive SETA program including newcomer orientation, annual training, refresher courses, and awareness materials; providing monthly training completion rates. Disintegrator Operation & Maintenance: Operating the SEM Model 23 disintegrator, performing operator‑level maintenance, coordinating service and supply acquisition with the COR, and following the separate maintenance contract. Afterhours Security Inspections: Assisting with security walk‑throughs and inspections to ensure compliance, prevent incidents, and detect unauthorized disclosure; reporting incidents and providing monthly and annual reports. Briefing & Reporting: Preparing briefings, papers, and responses for senior leadership on security and foreign disclosure matters. Security Procedure Updates: Revising and drafting new security procedures and recommending them for government approval. Qualifications Technical proficiency in Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Architecture frameworks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS) and IT/Cybersecurity rules. Security expertise with Enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (ePACS), Lenel, and Secure Room hardware and protocols. DoD 8140.03 baseline certification (formerly 8570.01‑M) for Information Assurance positions. Ability to operate classified material destruction equipment and manage systematic declassification actions per DoD precedents. Maintain an active Top Secret (TS) with SCI access security clearance and fulfill all ongoing training and background investigation requirements. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work within technical environments such as server rooms or confined spaces. Security and Clearance Employment is contingent upon the ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test. The role requires a Top Secret (TS) with SCI access security clearance and maintenance of DoD 8140.03 Information Assurance certification standards.
