Dietary Aid/Server | Full and PT positions

Food Service Attendant

Multiple shifts available including full and part time shifts. Day shift Thursday-Sunday 6am-2:30pm. Evening shift Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm. Evening shift Thursday & Friday 1pm-7pm. $18-$22 an hour (DOE). Food Handlers Permit required. CPR/First Aid required.

Responsible for the setup, cleaning and delivery of meal service.

Requirements include:

• Setting up the main dining room with fresh linen, flowers, silverware, dishware and glasses prior to every meal.
• Ensuring that all table condiment items are full and clean.
• Responsible for the breakdown, cleaning, replenishing and setup of the beverage stations after each meal.
• Cleaning the dining room prior to every meal including crump/clean/sanitize chairs and table bases and vacuuming. Dusting, cleaning windows, window sills, etc as needed.
• Washing, drying and folding table linen daily if a linen service has not been contracted.
• Preparation of food items, as needed.
• Greeting and seating all residents.
• Providing and ensuring a courteous, high quality delivery of meal and non-alcoholic beverage service.
• Cleaning and preparing the menu board daily.
• Washing dishes, as needed.
• Assisting residents with cutting food, eating and drinking as needed.
• Assisting residents to and from the dining room as needed.
• Monitoring resident attendance at each meal.
• Monitoring resident special diet restrictions.
• Delivering/picking up tray service.
• Adhering to safety and sanitary practices.
• Reporting any unusual incidents to the Food Service Director, Executive Director/General Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Responding and assisting with any resident, staff, guest or community emergency.
• Maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to the prescribed uniform standards.
• Assisting with special events as needed.
• Maintaining all equipment in a clean and safe manner.
• Attending all meetings that the Food Service Director, Executive Director/General Manager or Manager on Duty deems necessary.
• Any other duties as required by the Food Service Director, Executive Director/General Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Minimum Training and Experience: No Experience Necessary.
