Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Unit may low census in 4-hour increments; travelers may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• Work with an 8-bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Neuro-specific procedures include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• 1 travel assignment preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Scrub color: Any color
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility
