Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings, Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Nursing License: Valid Registered Nurse license Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Experience in Behavioral Health/Psychiatric nursing within the last year Description: Must be open to all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This is a 13-week RN contract in a reopening unit. 36-hour guarantee is provided. Must work every other weekend. Experience should include care for behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders. The position involves providing acute, short-term care to promote stabilization for patients. Personalized planning and comprehensive services are part of the care provided. Age-appropriate programming is essential for each patient. The facility offers long-term treatment and educational support to empower young people. Focus is on helping patients make sustained progress towards recovery.
