Luxury residential building located in Manhattan is looking to fill a skilled  Handyperson position. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of prior professional experience in a residential setting, leadership skills, ability to meet deadlines and foster teamwork and positive tenant working relationships.

Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

• General apartment maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting)
• Installing fixtures, trim, molding, cabinets, counters, etc.
• Experience working with various construction materials
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Address any safety hazards
• Liaise with building management, contractors and outside vendors, etc.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming calls and in-person requests.
• Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
• Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
• Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
• Perform quality and quantity duties as expected for position.
• Complete company required training courses as assigned.

Qualifications:

• a minimum of 3 years prior handyperson experience
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
• Extreme attention to detail and follow up tasks
• Ability to multi-task and be a team player
• Proactive, energetic, efficient

Job Specific Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Execute tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Possess ability to adapt to changing environment.
• Able to read and observe surroundings.
• Able to physically perform duties at the speed, mobility and force necessary.
