Associate Attorney - Family Law

Family Law Associate Attorney
An established family law firm is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its team. The attorney will handle various aspects of family law, including pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, mediation, depositions, and trials.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex and high-asset family law cases
- Maintain communication with clients and other parties involved in cases
- Prepare for and conduct depositions
- Assess cases and develop litigation and settlement strategies
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents and court filings
- Stay current on case law, statutes, court rules, and local regulations
- Represent clients in family law court
- Review and analyze client and opposing-party income and expenses for settlement or trial
- Work collaboratively with assigned paralegals
- Maintain accurate time and case records
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar membership in good standing - required
- Family law experience preferred
- Trial experience in another practice area may be considered
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of professionalism and ethics
