Family Law Associate Attorney

An established family law firm is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its team. The attorney will handle various aspects of family law, including pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, mediation, depositions, and trials.

Responsibilities

Manage complex and high-asset family law cases
Maintain communication with clients and other parties involved in cases
Prepare for and conduct depositions
Assess cases and develop litigation and settlement strategies
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents and court filings
Stay current on case law, statutes, court rules, and local regulations
Represent clients in family law court
Review and analyze client and opposing-party income and expenses for settlement or trial
Work collaboratively with assigned paralegals
Maintain accurate time and case records

Qualifications

Active Florida Bar membership in good standing - required
Family law experience preferred
Trial experience in another practice area may be considered
Excellent legal writing and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of professionalism and ethics
