Travel MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift is Friday 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM at the hospital, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM at the FSED. Call will be every 4th weekend.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires the ability to modify imaging parameters for various studies involving soft tissue, the arterial system, the brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without the use of contrast media.

• Conduct MRI imaging procedures while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Adjust imaging parameters as necessary to optimize study results.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
• Provide compassionate patient care and support during imaging procedures.

• Must possess ARRT(MR) certification and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience is required.
• Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited AMA school and state licensure as a general radiographer.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT is a plus.
