OBGYN Physician Opening West of Boston - Academic
Enterprise Medical Services
One of the largest healthcare systems in Massachusetts is adding an OBGYN less than one hour from Boston. This is a unique opportunity in established community practice. Our physicians provide quality patient care in an office-based, independent, private practice-like setting, while enjoying the benefits of being part of a large health system.
About the Opportunity:
- 4-day work week
- Call 1:8
- Our providers practice both inpatient and outpatient obstetrics/gynecology with board-certified colleagues.
- 163-bed community hospital
- Inpatient obstetrics is practiced at the main campus, a 780-bed tertiary care center with a Level 3 NICU, dedicated OB anesthesia, and UMass Ob/Gyn residents.
- Epic EMR
Compensation/Benefits:
- Guaranteed base salary commensurate with experience
- Employer-funded retirement contributions of 8% of base salary with additional retirement plan options
- Tuition reimbursement, student loan forgiveness support, and PSLF eligible employment
- Concierge services for relocation to include special mortgage promotions
- Professional liability insurance coverage of $5 million per claim and $10 million aggregate
Community/Location:
- A vibrant city in north-central Worcester County with an estimated population of approximately 44,200 residents.
- Conveniently located along Route 2 and Interstate 190, offering easy access to many of New England's major destinations.
- The city is approximately 25 miles north of Worcester, 40 miles northwest of Boston, and about 55 miles southwest of Manchester, New Hampshire.
- Travelers benefit from proximity to several airports, including Worcester Regional Airport (about 20 miles), Boston Logan International Airport (about 46 miles), Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (about 42 miles), and T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island (about 72 miles).
