Opportunity at Del Conca USA — Loudon, TN

We’re expanding our maintenance team to keep our porcelain tile manufacturing operation running at peak performance. In this role, you’ll own preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance for production and infrastructure systems, applying advanced expertise in one trade (mechanical or electrical) and strong capability in the other. You will work independently on complex tasks and coach teammates in lower maintenance classifications.

When You’ll Work

• Enjoy a balanced schedule: 3.5 non-rotating days each week.
• We’re currently hiring for A & B shifts.

What You’ll Tackle

• Lead with safety—model and follow all safety and health procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; document your work.
• Program and calibrate computer-controlled equipment to sustain process efficiency.
• Install, service, and maintain high-/low-voltage motors, pumps, valves, and regulators.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Adjust and repair sensors, input devices, thermocouples, and related components.
• Execute fabrication and repair: welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, cutting, and machine shop operations.
• Inspect assets proactively to catch defects early.
• Use CMMS/work order systems to access and record tasks.
• Share knowledge—train and mentor maintenance personnel.
• Partner with operators/supervisors to rapidly restore equipment.

Must-Haves

• High School diploma or GED/HiSET required; trade school/community college/apprenticeship credential preferred.
• 1+ year in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Background with automated conveyor systems and controls; mechanical systems; electrical/electronic theory; and industrial electrical/controls.
• Preventive maintenance discipline; strong troubleshooting; blueprint/schematic literacy; National Electrical Code (NEC) familiarity.
• Experience with work order/CMMS tools.
• Competencies: technical depth, analytical problem solving, safety focus, clear communication, teamwork, mentorship, planning/organization, adaptability.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, and use hands/arms frequently for tools and materials.
• Climb stairs/ladders and access elevated platforms repeatedly.
• Full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Occasionally lift/move up to 60 pounds; heavier items as necessary.
• Work amid elevated noise, dust, dirt, heat, cold, humidity, and temperature swings.
• Meet vision needs: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Enter confined or tight spaces when required.
• Maintain strength, balance, and coordination for extended standing and task execution.

Work Environment

Our plant setting includes heat, dust, moisture, noise, and moving machinery. You’ll stand, walk, bend, climb, and use hands/arms to handle tools, materials, and equipment. You may lift and move materials, access elevated platforms or confined spaces, and must always follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout. Required PPE includes safety glasses, gloves, and steel or composite toe footwear.
