Full-time Laundry Aide

Edenbrook Greenwood Hill , located in Pottsville, PA, is a proud member of Eden East committed to providing exceptional care and enhancing the well-being of our residents is looking for a Part-time Laundry Aide to join our team.

Position: Full-time Laundry Aide

Hours : 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, every other weekend/holidays

Essential Functions:

• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas of the facility.

• Safely mixes and uses cleaning solutions and stores in a secure area.

• Labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers.

• Performs other tasks as assigned.

• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Prior experience preferred but not required, preferably someone who has similar experience.

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the role

• Clear and respectful communication with residents, family members, and team members

• Understanding of basic infection control and safety practices

• Patient, courteous, and professional demeanor

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform tasks that require prolonged standing
