Outpatient Physical Therapist – Travel Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Southington, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Southington, CT where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in an outpatient clinic setting. You will evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with physicians, patients, families and colleagues to support functional return to community activities. You will follow state practice acts and organizational safety policies while contributing to professional development and student learning as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document care in compliance with regulatory and clinic policies. Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred. Ability to participate in student supervision and demonstrate professional development planning. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in outpatient clinic settings treating musculoskeletal and post-surgical populations. Experience with functional goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry. Familiarity with performance improvement processes and safety-focused care delivery.
