Technical Project Manager III

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As a Core Components Valves & Pumps Operations Product Integrator, you will work directly with the Kent WA Valves & Pumps manufacturing and assembly teams as well as the Valves & Thermal Fluids business unit team to improve the overall execution of multiple projects. You will support our product teams in managing projects across the entire product life cycle from research, design development, final flight hardware design, manufacturing, and production. Your primary responsibilities will be managing budgets, schedules, work breakdown structure, and program plans to ensure products are delivered to meet program needs. With your help we will quantitatively manage our scope by presenting status, risks & opportunities, variances, and recovery plans to engineering and program management. You will be hands on with the team supporting the week‑to‑week planning and execution and will be responsible for the programmatic key performance metrics (cost, schedule, risk) and maintaining alignment between the program level plan and our team's day‑to‑day performance. Special Mentions Position is based in Kent WA; No relocation provided Travel expected up to 5%-10% of the time Minimum Qualifications B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related disciplines 2+ years of experience planning and managing projects/programs including managing priorities, scope, schedule, integration, and cost. Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management, and Cost Account Management Experience with Agile project management methodology and JIRA software Experience with P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software packages Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while regularly providing imaginative and detailed solutions to complex problems Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skill Preferred Qualifications MBA degree or equivalent experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience Proficient with MS Excel capabilities such as Macros, Power Query and Power Pivot Experience leading complex highly integrated products Experience with cryogenic liquid, gas distribution, and propulsion systems Experience with cryogenic valves and pumps Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $169,347.00 - $237,085.80 Other site ranges may differ Culture Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
