Job Description Job Summary: Responsible for preparing tissue samples through cutting and embedding to support diagnostic procedures in a hospital-based histology laboratory. Ensures accurate processing and maintaining quality standards essential for pathology assessments. Responsibilities:

- Perform tissue cutting and embedding procedures with precision and adherence to laboratory protocols.
- Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety and quality control procedures to maintain specimen integrity.
- Document laboratory processes and sample tracking accurately within the lab information system.
- Collaborate with pathology team to support diagnostic workflows.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and standard operating procedures. Qualifications:
- Certified Histotech - HT (ASCP) with valid license prior to start.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume hospital histology laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of tissue processing, sectioning, and embedding techniques.
- Ability to operate histology equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with laboratory information systems, preferably Epic Beaker, is a plus. Benefits & Growth:
