Pay: $20.00/hour

Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday/Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM) OpSource Staffing has partnered with a leading food production company in Spartanburg, SC, and we're looking for a dependable Maintenance Helper to join the team. If you have basic mechanical skills and enjoy working hands-on with industrial equipment, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities
- Assist the lead mechanic with repairing and maintaining production machinery.
- Help install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and machine parts.
- Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with electrical and electronic equipment repairs.
- Help start up and shut down production lines.
- Monitor equipment to ensure machines are operating efficiently.
- Clean and sanitize tools and processing equipment to meet USDA and FDA food safety standards.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in cold, wet environments as well as hot, noisy production areas.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including hard hats, hearing protection, and slip-resistant boots.
- Commitment to following all FDA and food safety regulations.
- Competitive pay at $20.00/hour
