Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computerized tomography scans to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. They ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire detailed cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy.
• Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and ensuring proper positioning.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow established safety protocols, including radiation protection standards.
• Document all procedures accurately in patient records and report any technical issues to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid ARRT-CT certification and state licensure as applicable.
• Show at least 2 years of recent acute care imaging experience.
• Hold a diploma from a JCERT-accredited program verified on DAPIP.
• Be BLS (AHA or ARC) certified.
• Demonstrate proficiency with fluoroscopy procedures and adequate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Ability to operate CT equipment safely and effectively.
