Site Contracts Lead
ICON
ICON seeks a Site Contracts Lead to oversee clinical trial agreement preparation, negotiation, and execution across assigned studies. The role involves managing contracting workflows, resolving escalations, and guiding contract negotiators while collaborating with legal, finance, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end site contracting activities including template application, negotiation, and execution tracking
- Serve as primary escalation point for contract issues and propose balanced solutions
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams on contract alignment and risk positions
- Monitor contracting timelines and metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements
- Provide guidance and oversight to Site Contracts Negotiators on assigned studies or programmes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong clinical site contracting or contract negotiation experience in CRO, pharma, or healthcare
- Knowledge of clinical trial agreements, budget structures, and legal/compliance considerations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and detail management skills for multiple concurrent studies
- Experience guiding or coordinating work of other contract professionals
