Benefits include Paid Vacation Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs. accrued monthly Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement Medical, Dental & Vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, and 401k retirement benefits Key Responsibilities Performs routine facilities maintenance duties such as painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, HVAC repairs, and other related assignments Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment Performs non-routine repairs to equipment Uses tools and operate equipment needed to perform job functions; equipment includes concrete breakers, bucket truck, cranes, forklifts, etc. Assists with moving furniture and equipment Other duties as required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required. One to three years of progressively responsible experience in building and grounds maintenance Ability to use a wide variety of hand tools and repair equipment Ability to understand and interpret instruction manuals Ability to use a wide variety of hand tools Ability to perform inspections associated with various Environment requirements Ability to maintain Environmental logs Ability to perform PMs or various type of shop equipment Basic mechanical ability Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position require the ability to: Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions, work alone and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
