Senior Vice President of Development

Hirewell has been retained by a national developer of mixed‑use and multifamily assets to find a Senior Vice President - Development to join their team in Charlotte, NC . This is an amazing opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and carve out a long-term career! The SVP will be responsible for building out the Charlotte development pipeline as well as leading the expansion of the Charlotte team. CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE TO BE CONSIDERED STRONG DEAL SOURCING AND DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Primary Responsibilities Lead all deal sourcing activities, including broker relationships, market tours, and direct outreach. Lead initial underwriting, feasibility analysis, and deal structuring for all development opportunities. Lead negotiation of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and business terms with land sellers and coordinate PSA execution in partnership with legal counsel. Establish and manage the pre‑development budget, tracking all invoices & exposures and lead formation of the pre‑development project team, including architects, engineers, and key consultants.
