Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist — Skilled Nursing Facility | Santa Maria, CA

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide rehabilitation services to skilled nursing residents, conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate documentation, educate patients and families, and monitor progress to ensure quality outcomes. New graduates are welcome.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license for California required to start the assignment.
• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required for team-based care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with documentation and regulatory compliance in SNF settings preferred.
• Familiarity with common therapeutic modalities and home exercise program development preferred.

• Shift hours: 8-hour day shift.
