Floor Leader: Elevate Customer Experience & Sales

Job Overview As a Floor Supervisor, you will lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates, ensuring a consistent Best in Class customer experience that aligns with our brand values and purpose. You will partner with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to maximize profitability, ensuring that customer engagement, storytelling merchandising, operations, and community connection are all consistent and in compliance with company standards. You will create an inclusive environment, prioritize internal and external customers, and support the team's self‑development through Division of Responsibility rotations and position‑based training. Responsibilities Assist in maximizing sales and achieving store target goals by leading an environment of productivity through ensuring the store team has the knowledge and skills to meet store goals for sales and customer engagement. Assist in monitoring payroll while protecting the needs of the business. Lead and inspire a customer‑centric culture by recognizing and rewarding the team’s successes. Be an active brand ambassador within the community through proactively seeking opportunities to engage with the customers and support or participate in community initiatives outside the four walls of the store. In partnership with the store manager, provide leadership to ensure thorough training and ongoing development of the store team in customer engagement and all company programs, policies and procedures. Partner with Store Manager in achieving all financial and operational objectives including expense control, loss prevention, store audits and review weekly reports. Ensure the store’s inventory integrity is maintained. Implement visual merchandise directives and maintain standards consistent with the company brand strategies. Ensure compliance and adherence to policies and procedures, standards and practices, and company directives regarding loss prevention, safety and compliance; protect company assets. Promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others. Required Qualifications 1+ years of store management experience in a fast‑paced, engaging retail environment. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced store environment. Proven ability to meet business goals by driving results through the store team. Willingness and desire to learn and to share knowledge of products, local community and relevant experiences. Ability and desire to provide a highly engaging customer experience through individual service, conversation and relationship building. Excellent decision‑making ability in a fast‑paced environment. Detail oriented. Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and software programs. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a specialty retail environment, retail footwear or apparel industry. High School Diploma or GED. Physical Requirements Operate office equipment and technology (e.g., computers, tablets, phones, copier). Standing required for entire work shift. Bend, lift, open and move product up to 50 pounds as needed. Use ladders for visual merchandising, light adjustments and window banner placement. Benefits & Compensation Hiring Range: $15.40 - $23.10 USD per hour. This position may also be eligible for an annual incentive plan, sales incentive or commission potential.
