Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Animal Wellness Center of Monee – Monee, IL (30 miles south of Chicago) Animal Wellness Center of Monee is an AAHA-accredited, privately owned small animal practice located in a growing, family-oriented community just south of Chicago. We are proud to be known as the local “family doctor” for pets and have built a loyal client base that truly values veterinary care and professional expertise. We are blessed to know and love our patients from the beginning of their life to their end. We are seeking an experienced small animal associate who wants to practice high-quality medicine while maintaining a healthy work–life balance. What Makes Our Practice Different A respectful, loyal client base that values our recommendations and care A doctor-driven schedule that supports quality medicine and realistic daily flow No overbooking — appointments are structured to allow proper patient care Medical and surgical decisions are based on patient needs, not production quotas Flexible scheduling — we work with you to support your personal needs We leave on time, and work stays at work No non-compete clause and straightforward 1-year contracts Community outreach through the Street Dog Coalition, providing quarterly free wellness clinics for underserved residents in South Chicago An established, supportive team that works hard and genuinely enjoys working together Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $110,000–$140,000, based on experience, skill set, and hours worked (negotiable) Future buy-in potential 35–40 hour work week with a flexible schedule $1,500 CE allowance + 3 paid CE days annually Paid state and DEA licensing 120 hours of PTO per year 75% employer-paid health, dental, and life insurance Paid liability and license defense insurance What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of small animal medical and surgical experience A veterinarian who values teamwork, client communication, and high-quality medicine Someone who wants long-term satisfaction, not burnout If you’re looking for a practice where you can enjoy your career, provide excellent care, and maintain real work–life balance, Animal Wellness Center of Monee may be the right fit for you.
