_ Position Overview _

The Housing Coordinator provides operational leadership for LCFS’s 30-unit Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program . This role oversees program operations, ensures compliance with HUD , Continuum of Care (CoC) , and Housing First standards, and supports a trauma-informed, culturally responsive housing environment.

The Housing Coordinator supervises housing staff, supports resident engagement and services, manages partnerships, and ensures the program operates effectively, compliantly, and in alignment with LCFS’s mission.

This role is ideal for a housing professional who can balance program oversight, staff leadership, compliance accountability, and resident-centered care .

_ What Success Looks Like in This Role _

Within your first 90 days, you will:

1. Ensure PSH operations align with HUD, CoC, and Housing First requirements

2. Maintain accurate program oversight, reporting, and compliance readiness

3. Supervise and support housing staff with clear expectations and coaching

4. Foster a stable, respectful, and trauma-informed housing environment

5. Strengthen partnerships with property management and service providers

_ Core Responsibilities _

** Program Compliance & Oversight **

1. Ensure compliance with HUD , CoC , and PSH standards

2. Oversee audits, monitoring, reporting, and documentation requirements

3. Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting in HMIS/ETO

4. Monitor program performance and address compliance gaps proactively

** Resident Support & Engagement **

1. Oversee intake, orientation, and ongoing resident engagement

2. Support resident goal-setting, life skills activities, and tenant councils

3. Ensure services align with Housing First and trauma-informed practices

4. Respond to resident concerns and support crisis response as needed

** Partnership & Community Collaboration **

1. Serve as liaison with property management, service providers, and community partners

2. Coordinate services that support housing stability and resident success

3. Represent the program in community meetings and collaborative spaces

** Staff Supervision & Program Operations **

1. Supervise housing program staff, interns, and volunteers

2. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and workload coordination

3. Oversee scheduling, facility use, and operational workflows

4. Track program budgets and support fiscal responsibility

** Program Development & Advancement **

1. Contribute to program development, grant reporting, and continuous improvement

2. Support initiatives that expand housing access and supportive services

3. Assist leadership with planning, evaluation, and strategic growth

** Required Skills & Capabilities **

1. Strong leadership, organizational, and supervisory skills

2. Ability to manage program operations, compliance, and staff oversight

3. Knowledge of HUD CoC , Housing First , and PSH principles

4. Experience working with HMIS or similar data systems (or willingness to learn)

5. Strong communication skills with residents, staff, and partners

6. Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage sensitive situations

_ Minimum Qualifications _

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in supportive housing, homeless services, or case management

2. Demonstrated experience with program compliance and coordination

_ Nice-to-Have Qualifications _

1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field

2. Experience working with chronically homeless populations or co-occurring disorders

3. Familiarity with the Indianapolis Continuum of Care and local service networks

4. Bilingual abilities

_ Education & Requirements _

1. Ability to pass background checks per LCFS policy

2. Ability to work on-site at Pando Aspen Grove and LCFS offices

3. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to support residents or respond to emergencies
