Job Summary:
A Mother/Baby Nurse specializing in Mother/Baby couplet care is needed in Tennessee. This position involves providing nursing care on a 12-hour night shift within a facility that emphasizes patient-centered care. The role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs, including rotating schedules, with orientation sessions scheduled throughout late summer and fall.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights (12 hours), with staff required to work a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Compact or TN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, at least 2 years of experience, experience with newborn transition care is an essential responsibility for our Mother/Baby Registered Nurses, prior travel experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Orientation dates include 08/31, 09/14, 09/21, and 09/28, with no block schedule offered. Staff must be flexible and available for the scheduled orientation sessions. No time off is approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live.
• Additional Information: Must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the unit. The facility utilizes Cerner and GE Centricity electronic medical records systems. Weekend shifts are required; there is no call. IVS to interview and manager to extend an offer.
