Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Sonographer specializing in Cardiac or Vascular imaging for a travel assignment in Uniontown, PA. Key Responsibilities of the Sonographer

• Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures in Cardiac Graphics or Vascular Laboratories, depending on certification
• Perform proper billing of procedures and prioritize patient scheduling
• Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely completion of procedures
• Obtain information for specific procedures, answer patient questions, and maintain courtesy to patients and families
• Perform imaging procedures within established guidelines and timeframes
• Notify medical staff if images deviate from normal as appropriate
• Document procedures within patient charts to inform physicians
• Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures from procedure data to aid in diagnosis
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas
• Ensure accurate documentation through EPIC for proper billing
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and unit information

Requirements of the Sonographer

• Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• BLS (AHA) and BLS Certification
• License to Submit
• Breast experience required
