Sandy Springs, GeorgiaOnsiteContract$60/hr - $75/hrSenior IT Project Manager – SAP / ERP & Infrastructure Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Employment Type: Long-Term ContractW2 only and currently living in the Atlanta area.Our client, a large public-sector organization in the Metro Atlanta area, is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise technology initiatives across SAP/ERP systems and IT infrastructure environments.This role will manage complex projects spanning SAP initiatives and infrastructure programs including network, server, and enterprise platform upgrades. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project delivery through the full lifecycle, and ensure successful implementation of technology solutions across the organization.The ideal candidate brings strong experience leading both ERP/SAP initiatives and enterprise infrastructure projects in large, complex environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead full lifecycle delivery of enterprise IT projects including planning, design, build, testing, implementation, and rollout.Manage SAP and ERP-related initiatives including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.Oversee infrastructure initiatives such as network upgrades, data center initiatives, wireless upgrades, and server or platform implementations.Develop project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery.Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, SAP teams, and project leadership.Ensure project alignment with PMO standards, project lifecycle methodology, and governance requirements.Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines and project quality.Coordinate multiple technical teams and vendors across infrastructure and application workstreams.Provide regular project status reporting, stakeholder updates, and executive communication.Required Skills7+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects3+ years of experience managing complex IT initiatives as a Project ManagerExperience managing SAP or ERP-related projects (implementations, upgrades, integrations, or enhancements)Experience managing infrastructure initiatives including network upgrades, server environments, cloud platforms, or data center initiativesStrong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure environments (network, server, storage, enterprise systems)Experience working within formal PMO governance and project lifecycle frameworksStrong risk management, issue management, and stakeholder communication skillsExperience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and enterprise stakeholdersProficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting toolsPreferred SkillsPMP certificationInfrastructure-related certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or similarExperience managing enterprise ERP programs or large infrastructure modernization initiativesExperience working in large public-sector or education environmentsYou will receive the following benefits:Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your familyDental & Orthodontia BenefitsVision BenefitsHealth Savings Account (HSA)Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsVoluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability InsuranceHospital Indemnity Insurance401(k) including match with pre and post-tax optionsPaid Sick Time LeaveLegal and Identity Protection PlansPre-tax Commuter Benefit529 College Saver PlanMotion Recruitment Partners (MRP) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
