Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS) - about 1 hour 15 minutes from the facility; Waco Regional (ACT) is about 50 minutes.

The Facility

You will practice at a large, full-service medical center in Central Texas - a teaching hospital campus with inpatient and outpatient services, on-site imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, and a broad multispecialty medical staff. Support is built in: scheduling, nursing, and ancillary teams handle the administrative load so your day stays clinical. The patient population is stable, insured, and largely young to middle-aged families and working adults.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult patients with neurologic disorders in the outpatient clinic
• Manage headache, epilepsy, neuropathy, movement, and cognitive disorders
• Interpret EEG and/or EMG studies as credentialed
• Provide inpatient neurology consultation as scheduled
• Coordinate care with primary care, behavioral health, and rehabilitation services

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license (or license from another U.S. state with Texas licensure in process)
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency

Schedule

Monday-Friday days core, outpatient-weighted with scheduled consult coverage. Scheduled call per the published coverage schedule, which is issued 90 days in advance. Federal holidays off.
