Control Panel Design EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Control Panel Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in control panel design, controls commissioning, and UL508A compliance. This role involves designing and developing control panels for industrial applications while ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop control panels focusing on safety, functionality, and ease of maintenance.Ensure compliance with UL508A standards and electrical codes.Select appropriate electrical components, including switches, relays, and sensors, based on system requirements.Integrate electrical components into larger systems to ensure compatibility and seamless operation.Choose and configure gauges, relays, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and circuits for various applications.Required Qualifications:Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (ASEE, ASEET, BET, BSE).5+ years of experience in electrical design of control panels and industrial manufacturing environments.Proficiency in UL508A panel design and compliance.Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.Experience in selecting and configuring electrical components for industrial machinery.Preferred Skills:PLC programming experience.Hands-on troubleshooting and commissioning expertise.Work Environment:Combination of manufacturing floor and desk work.Business casual dress code.Standard work hours: 8 AM to 5 PM.Collaborative team of approximately 6 engineers, including technicians, field service, and sales engineers.Opportunities to lead and manage custom control projects in a small, dynamic team environment.
