Position Details

This position requires a healthcare professional who is adaptable to various shift times, including:

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30)
Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (17:45 - 06:15)

The role involves conducting 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Candidates must be open to self-scheduling based on seniority and may work varying schedules to accommodate unit needs. Consistent assignments in day, night, or graveyard shifts will be coordinated to avoid back-to-back shifts of varying times.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a high volume of imaging scans efficiently and independently.
Be open to working on major holidays; three of five holidays are required.
Assist in patient transportation as needed based on staffing levels.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a community hospital setting.
Experience with GE and Toshiba imaging equipment is required.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT. ARRT CT or ARRT R is acceptable.

Work Environment

This is an acute care hospital with a total of 212 staffed beds, offering a busy department primarily catering to emergency department patients. The facility is recognized as a primary stroke receiving center.

Uniform: Navy Blue for RNs; scrubs provided for L&D/OR.
Charting System: Epic.
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
