The Sr Field Validation Engineeris responsible forconducting field tests on prototype agricultural and off-highway equipment and coordinating field testing activities for Application equipment within the field validation team. The Sr Validation Engineer acts as a key technical resource; supporting training, troubleshooting, and ensuring the use of best practices. Additionally, this position serves as a primary point of contact between Field Validation and cross‑functional engineering groups on application‑related topics, ensuring clear,accuratecommunication and alignment of test outcomes. Your Impact Conduct extensive field testing, including selecting test locations, coordinating with cooperators, and traveling asrequired. Collect, organize, and analyze performance data using instrumentation such as data loggers, and reportaccuratetest results, failures, and improvement recommendations. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CAN‑BUS systems during field operations and testing activities. Collaborate with farmers, dealers, field teams, and engineering tovalidatemachine performance, address safety concerns, and share industry insights. Represent Validation Engineering in design reviews and project milestones whilemaintainingequipment condition, appearance, and security throughout the testing process. YourExperience and Qualifications Engineering degree (or equivalent experience) with strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on fabrication/modification skills 5+ years of field testing or technical experience in agricultural/off‑highway machinery, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CAN‑BUS systems Ability to travel up to 50% and work effectively in dynamic field environments, including extended onsite testing Strong communicationskills for presenting findings to engineering teams, programs, and leadership Proficiencywith diagnostic and data acquisition tools, with ability to meet physical requirements (clean driving record, MN DOT physical,liftingto 50lbs) Health care and wellness plans Dental and vision plans Flexible and virtual work options (where available) 401(k) Savings Plan with company match Employee Stock Purchase Plan offering eligible employees the ability topurchaseAGCO stock at a discounted price Paid holidays and paid time off Health savings and flexible spending accounts Reimbursement for continuing education Life insurance and other supplemental insurance plans Your Compensation This position will be within the range of $95,000- $115,000based on experience.This position is eligible for a bonus based on10% compensation.
