We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing healthcare focused organization. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records supporting the month end close process and helping strengthen accounting operations during a period of team restructuring. The initial focus will be on general ledger cleanup and preparing reclassification journal entries. Position Details 3 month contract or open to contract to hire Immediate start preferred In office position Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile cash bank and credit card accounts Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Support monthly quarterly and year end close activities Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting Support annual audits tax reporting and external advisor requests Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies Assist with accounting cleanup projects and reclassification entries as needed Qualifications Senior level accounting experience with strong general ledger and reconciliation skills Healthcare industry experience QuickBooks experience preferred By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
