Lead Transmission Line Engineer

To support a growing team, the full-time Lead Transmission Line Engineer will design transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 765kV, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with specifications and client requirements while working onsite. Key responsibilities Design and oversee the development of transmission line projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards Mentor and train less experienced design team members to enhance their skills and knowledge Prepare technical reports and perform independent reviews of work, including calculations and design drawings Required qualifications BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program 10 or more years of transmission design experience Proficiency with PLS-CADD software Experience in preparing scopes of work and conceptual designs for transmission lines up to 500kV Knowledge of engineering standards such as NESC, IEC, and IEEE
