Registered Nurse (RN) - Day ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts.The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, while promoting patient and employee safety.Responsibilities:Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission.Collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and goals.Provide patient information and status for initial and re-evaluation team conferences.Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and direct patient care using the nursing process.Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to maintain continuity of care.Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.Ensure personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.Contribute to a positive work environment through calm direction and reassurance.Maintain communication with management regarding service needs and supplies.Assume charge responsibility as requested after orientation.Pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:BLS Certification required prior to first shift.ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
