Our organization is in search of a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide support at Fort Bliss, Texas , specifically within the Soldier Readiness Processing Center and related military medical facilities.

This role presents a fantastic chance to engage in a structured, mission-focused setting, dedicated to assisting active-duty personnel.

Position Overview:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• No Night, Weekend, or On-Call Duties

• Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX

• Work Environment: Soldier Readiness Processing Center / Military Clinics

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE)

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)

• At least 1 year of recent primary care experience (within the last 2 years)

• Current Texas NP license

• NPI is required (DEA registration is not necessary)

• BLS Certification (from AHA or Red Cross, in-person)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medical evaluations to ensure Service Members are ready for mobilization/demobilization (MOB/DEMOB)

• Deliver primary care services , encompassing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

• Ensure efficient patient flow, managing 4-6 patients per hour (SRP) as necessary

• Order and assess laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostics , following up on any abnormal findings

• Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans in line with clinical guidelines

• Complete precise and timely documentation in MHS Genesis (within 24 hours)

• Coordinate patient care and make referrals to specialists when required

• Engage in team meetings, quality assurance, and peer review activities

• Comply with DoD, DHA, MTF, and Joint Commission standards and protocols

• Adhere to infection control and CDC guidelines consistently

• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented clinical atmosphere
