Structural Engineer – Building Design | Central New Jersey
Well-established consulting engineering firm in Central NJ is seeking a Structural Engineer with building design experience to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities:
- Design structural systems in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
- Perform structural analysis and prepare calculations
- Develop construction documents and coordinate with architects and MEP teams
- Conduct site visits and respond to RFIs during construction
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (M.S. preferred)
- 3–25+ years of building design experience
- PE license (or on track) preferred
- Proficiency in Revit and structural analysis software (ETABS, RAM, RISA, etc.)
- Knowledge of IBC and relevant building codes
