Position Summary The Billing Director is responsible for all aspects of billing operations including but not limited to: claims submissions, collections, and revenue generation. The Billing Director together with the CFO and Management Team ensures compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $33.65 - $38.46 hourly. Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant equivalent experience.
• Good mix of corporate and non-profit experience 5-10 years.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Oversees billing functions of the clinic
• Collects and records data accurately
• Participates in reporting requirements including OSHPD, UDS and Title X
• Ensure the organizations programs and grants support the overall strategic plan, and that alignment exists with the infrastructure and operating plans
• Directly supervises billing staff
• Creates and presents reports based on available information to CFO, and as requested to Management Team, staff and Federal and State funding sources
• Ensure compliance to IRS, Federal, State, County and City regulations
• Keeps administrative team informed of relevant and important billing issues on a daily basis
• Advocates for patient care in a medical home model, participates in community service and events that support, finance, generate revenue for the organization
• Exemplifies the mission of Wilmington Community Clinic
• Represents the clinic in the community, as requested, by attending community meetings and events, etc.
• Demonstrate understanding of WCC policies and procedures.
• Interacts with patients, physicians, staff, vendors, and visitors in ways that demonstrate caring and reflect the WCC mission and philosophy.
• Fosters an environment that promotes trust and cooperation among all staff of WCC
• Attends WCC meetings as required
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Demonstrated skills in oral and written presentation
• Ability to plan and implement programs, agendas and meetings
• Bilingual English/Spanish possessing excellent Spanish written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain organized while managing multiple details
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Computer proficiency including Intergy Practice Management and EHR system, Microsoft Word, Excel, Desktop Publishing and Outlook
• Punctuality and excellent attendance required.
