Description

• Conduct evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while crafting personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and at-home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee aligned care

Education

• Physical Therapy (PT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy
• CPR certification is advantageous
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial, but not essential

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desirable
• Capability to treat patients with multifaceted medical and mobility challenges
