Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location Omaha, NE | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Care for post-operative recovery patients transitioning from the OR Manage oncology med/surg overflow patient population Float as needed within scope of practice Administer and monitor respiratory support including nasal cannula oxygen therapy Maintain compliance with facility fingernail policy — artificial nails are strictly prohibited in all patient care departments Required Qualifications Active RN license in good standing Current BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience Valid driver's license required at time of submittal Candidates must not be currently employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with oncology or med/surg overflow patient populations Post-operative or PACU recovery experience First-time travelers are welcome to apply Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic Medical Surgical environment with a supportive orientation process and clearly defined competency expectations Gain valuable experience across diverse patient populations including oncology overflow and post-operative care Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775289.
