The Quality Technician is also responsible for ensuring conformance to documentation and record keeping requirements and for reporting results of quality efforts.Duties and Responsibilities:Attendance-Be present for scheduled work hours.Maintain excellent standard for housekeeping.Work safely adhering to established safety procedures.Assist in interpreting work orders and drawings.Daily completion of QA shift report.Ensure conformance to all specifications.In-process product inspection.Containment of Non-Conforming product.Interpreting of test results, defines problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions.Assist in the training of new hires in quality principles.Identify continuous improvement opportunities and submit to department leadership.Assist in implementing new and updated procedures.Assist in special projects.Knowledge of customer requirements.Value performance testing and reporting on competitive product.Maintaining and filing of production records.Maintain accuracy of calibration on equipment.All other duties as assigned.High School Graduate or GEDQuality system management trainingAbility to read blueprints and line specs.Commitment to safety and qualityAbility to match color and print standardsProven track record of excellent attendanceExcellent problem solving, verbal and written skillsBasic math skillsData entry accuracy and keyboarding skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to read a measuring tapeAttention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Petoskey Plastics
