RN - NICU

NICU/PEDS Transport RN

This position is located in Florida.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (18:00 - 06:00).

The NICU/PEDS Transport RN will provide critical care transport for neonates and pediatric patients via helicopter and ambulance. Candidates are required to have prior transport experience in these settings, along with the ability to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and provide care to critically ill neonates and pediatric patients during transport.
• Administer medications, manage intubations, and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Utilize advanced life support techniques and equipment during transport.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU and/or pediatric transport setting.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Valid Florida RN license or a compact license is required at the time of submission.
