*CHOMP is a NICOTINE-FREE facility - all drug reports must have a negative result for nicotine/cotinine. If tested positive, will submit for review if traveler has been prescribed a nicotine patch. For all reports with no legitimate reason for positive nicotine/cotinine, the contract will be cancelled.

Needing an experienced Sterile Tech with-3 years minimum experience - lots of ortho, robotics and neuro

**ALL RTO needs to be in at the time of submission. NO RTO will be approved after candidate is presented to facility.

Unit Sterile Processing Miscellaneous Info & Examples if Needed
Required Certifications BLS, HSPA aka IAHCSMM (CRCST) or CBSPD
Common Cases A lot of total joints including knees, shoulders, hips; neuro including spinal & seldom crani's, general, urology - all done in main OR & not OP, a little ENT


We presently use Sterrad 100NX, however, we will be moving into a mobile SPD unit that is equipped with all Steris machinery. When that happens, we will be using the VPRO.

Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have experience in main OR.
Duties Cover all areas, decontamination, sterilization, setup, bronch and intubation scopes, sterilizing all patient equipment.
Manager/Lead Tech M-F- manager, lead each shift.
Shifts & Scheduling 8 hour shifts staggered 6a-230p, 12p-8:30p and 2p-1030p and 10p-6:30a, weekend rotation is required
No Call required


Scrub Color/Dress Code Provided
Unit/Department specific orientation 1-2 Weeks you will never be left without a resource.
Additional Notes Side note, they have had issues in the past with communication, manager not opposed to duos but must be prepared to not work same schedule and to be able to flexible with transportation for each traveler, many days will be asked to adjust start times of shifts
