This schedule allows our hygienists enough time to deliver comprehensive prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and detailed oral hygiene instruction without feeling rushed.

Job Description

Overview: Private dental practice seeking a Dental Hygienist for 35–40 hours per week in La Grange Park, IL.
Duties: Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, intraoral X-rays, intraoral pictures, oral hygiene instruction, treatment planning discussions with doctors, room cleaning and stocking, and instrument autoclaving.
Appointment Pace: Most adult hygiene appointments are scheduled for a full hour.
Team Structure: Collaborative environment working alongside 2 dentists, 4 dental assistants, 3 hygienists, and 2 front desk staff members.

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
1 to 2 Saturdays per month: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
Full-time hours range from 35–40 hours per week.
Can also do part time as a mix of the available hours
